RISE Joins Hands with Stanford Graduate School of Business
Pushing Forward Corporate Innovation in Southeast Asia

--

In an era of disruption, speed is a key success factor which has challenged the operations of both business and government sectors to increase their speed of organisational changes accelerated by innovation. The key to driving corporate innovation is the readiness of organisational leaders and high-level executives who are to become corporate chiefs leading the organisation to its goals and vision because successful corporate innovation starts from top executives who have the right mindset and skill sets.

With the goal to mark Southeast Asia the global hub of corporate innovation, RISE, a leading Corporate Innovation Powerhouse based in Southeast Asia, has recently joined hands with Stanford Graduate School of Business in launching the first Executive Corporation Innovation program for c-levels and top executives in Southeast Asia during 27–29 August in Thailand.

Dr. Kid Supachai Parchariyanon or “Dr. Kid”, Chief Executive Officer and founder of RISE, said it is the first time ever in Southeast Asia that Stanford Graduate School of Business, which is renowned as the world’s best MBA program ranked by QS World University Rankings with a large number of world’s innovators graduated, offers the executive program focusing on Corporate Innovation for senior executives who aspire to drive changes within the organizations towards real innovation.

“This Executive Corporate Innovation Program will help executives build essential skills and frameworks for executing corporate innovation in an era in which speed is a key success factor.”

RISE has invited three prominent faculty members from Stanford Graduate School of Business to exclusively run this program including:

Yossi Feinberg, The Adams Distinguished Professor of Management and Professor of Economics, has expertise on Managerial Economics, Information Markets, Game Theory, and Applied Decision Making with the MBA distinguished teaching award from Stanford University. He has been consulting in a wide range of industries including hi-tech, media and healthcare as well as giving invited talks on topics such as pricing, the sub-prime crisis, in-house vs. outsourcing, allocating decision power in organizations and strategic interactions. He is also the director of the Stanford Ignite Institute, a global innovation program running on Stanford Campus.

Baba Shiv, Director, The Innovative Technology Leader, is the prominent Professor of Marketing with numerous outstanding writings about the application of neuroeconomics to the study and practice of innovation and entrepreneurial leadership in the companies, from Silicon Valley startups to Fortune 500 companies. He also teaches course at Stanford GSB and the Hasso Plattner Design Institute at Stanford University. Furthermore, he has experiences in coaching executives across the world in executive education programs at Stanford on strategy, entrepreneurial leadership, and customer-focused innovation.

Jonathan Levav, Co-director, Innovative Marketing for Strategic Advantage and Faculty Director, Behavioral Lab, has published outstanding research aiming to understand consumer’s judgments and choices by using tools from experimental psychology and behavioral economics.

All of the three faculty members are prepared to offer executives in Southeast Asia an intense knowledge session through research, case studies, and workshops, which provide hands-on experiences during Executive Corporation Innovation program this August. Participants will receive an official certificate from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

RISE has exclusively designed this program with Stanford GSB to be suitable for corporate and government executives with goal to enable them to acquire the ability to uncover and overcome challenges that established companies face when trying to drive corporate innovation. This program will offer a great opportunity to build essential skills and frameworks for executing innovations and strategize on how to create corporate culture in order to support innovation in the big picture.

“The program reinforces RISE’s core mission to increase the GDP of Thailand and Southeast Asia by one percent. RISE believes that when executive-level leaders have the right mindset and skill sets for the creation and development of corporate innovation, the innovation will become a reality, which is the ultimate outcome that we want to see from the executives who graduates from our Executive Corporate Innovation program.”, concluded Dr. Kid Parchariyanon.
